About Me

Hi! I’m Kian Khojastepour, a graduate of Lawrence High School (June 2025) and a current student at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. I am majoring in Cell Biology and Neuroscience with a strong interest in pursuing a career in medicine, but to be honest, I am not sure what I hope to specialize in yet! My passion for science and medicine stems mainly from courses I took within high school (such as AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and AP Physics) as well as by my extensive projects in these fields. My main goal through this platform, BioBasics, is to share intriguing discoveries in medicine and engage with a community of individuals who are enthusiastic about science, while simultaneously strengthening my ability to communicate complex science topics in an understandable/practical way.
